The Alpha Pro SDS stem from by.schulz is primarily aimed at owners of City, Trekking and E-Bikes, but thanks to its durable forged construction, it is also ideal for XC and Cargo use. The special feature of the aluminum stem is the integrated locking ring, which allows the handlebar to be rotated 90 degrees to the left or right. This makes it possible to transport the bike in a space-saving manner without negatively affecting the adjustment of the bearing play.

However, the Ahead stem offers yet another practical adjustment option. The robust toothing in the adjustment joint allows the stem angle to be regulated over a wide 60 degree range. This goes hand in hand with the setting of the handlebar height and a corresponding option for relieving strain on the arms and neck. The SDS face plate ( Stem Docking System ) in turn enables the installation of SDS Link connectors and SDS adapters, which can be used to attach lights, navigation devices or action cameras. The Alpha Pro stem is also suitable for internal routing of cables, hoses and wires.
