• Hot-waxed chains are clean: unlike oil and liquid wax, hot wax is dry and dirt-repellent. This also keeps the rest of the drivetrain clean.
• Hot-waxed chains are faster: Because hot-waxed chains stay clean, they also have less friction. This is particularly noticeable on long rides and in dirty riding conditions.
• Hot-waxed chains last longer: Due to the clean drive, hot-waxed chains wear much more slowly than oiled chains with the same care. If several waxed chains are used interchangeably, the service life of the other drive components (chainrings, sprockets, derailleur pulleys) is also extended. This will also benefit your wallet in the long term.

In a complex, multi-stage process, the factory pre-lubricated chains are thoroughly degreased and prepared for waxing. The completely degreased, dry chains are then preheated and finally waxed in an ultrasonic bath. In addition to the ultrasound, they are agitated in the wax bath, which ensures that the wax is perfectly distributed in all gaps and around all components of the chain. All chains are waxed by hand in Germany.

ProWaxed has developed its own wax mixture based on years of experience. In addition to high-purity kerosene wax produced in Germany, molybdenum disulphide and tungsten disulphide are added to improve lubrication. Top performance - just like the Pros.
