A quadruple surface treatment as well as precisely hardened rivets and inner plates give DLC chains from KMC unsurpassed durability and the entire drivetrain an above-average service life. Special mention should be made of the diamond-like titanium-carbon-nitride top coating, which creates an extremely smooth and extremely hard protective layer that reduces wear and enables outstanding shifting performance. With its precisely manufactured plates, which feature dynamically chamfered edges, the Double X-Bridge construction also contributes to seamless gear changes and the smoothest possible running.

The 12-speed version has reinforced rivets with a larger diameter, which are inserted using a patented technology and make the DLC chain absolutely suitable for E-Bike use. The premium chain is given the finishing touch with GO WAX chain wax, which effectively improves shifting performance with its friction-reducing properties and extends the service life of the drivetrain.

GO WAX | A noticeable reduction in friction and a significant improvement in shifting performance. The innovative dry wax formula from GO WAX makes this possible. The advanced KMC chain wax not only ensures optimum efficiency, but also extends the service life of the drivetrain by forming a water-repellent microfilm on the chain. This prevents permanently both heavy dirt adhesion and accelerated chain wear.
