The Feva Star Seat has been developed for use on mountain bikes and therefore does not comply with the DIN EN14344 road child seat standard. This standard describes passive safety of child bike seats, i.e. "being protected" with e.g. backrest or harness straps. In off-road use, these specifications are hindering or even dangerous. With the Feva Star Seat, active safety is significantly increased, i.e. control over the bike is improved.
