The lightest Colnago.
The V5Rs is the lightest Colnago ever built, with a ready-to-paint frame of 685 grams. The frameset weighs 12.5% less than its predecessor without reducing stiffness.

Finer profiles.
The experience gained with the Y1Rs made it possible to refine the design of the V5Rs, which has slim and powerful profiles. In the wind tunnel, the aerodynamic performance is close to that of the best aero frames.

Reduced frontal area.
The frontal area of the V5Rs measures 250 cm², 13% less than its predecessor. The further development of the steering tube - now narrower - helps to reduce drag and save watts.

Stiff and responsive.
The V5Rs combines lightness and aerodynamics without compromising on stiffness and responsiveness, ensuring performance that meets the demands of the UAE team's professional racers.

More precise riding.
The V5Rs features a new, lighter and more precise fork. The 32 mm tire clearance allows the use of wider tires: more grip, ride-ability and speed on uneven terrain.

Absolute carbon quality.
Thanks to new lamination techniques, the arrangement of the carbon fibers in each area of the frame is studied and controlled. The result is a light, resistant and durable structure.
